The name of the software seems to be RealityCapture, but the website says Capturing Reality, http://www.capturingreality.com/. Either way I have to thank Richard, author of the blog at pi3dscan for giving me the first knowledge of this new software. http://www.pi3dscan.com/index.php/instructions/item/agisoft-vs-capturingreality
I have been creating photogrammetry models for over 2 years now, and love them for making fast detailed photorealistic environments. Usually my favorite is Agisoft Photoscan, and before that Autodesk 123D, or Momento, but now I hope to use this program more often. On their website I wrote for a trial copy, and two days later they gave me a 7 day version to try out, so I did and made this short video to show my results. In short this program is much faster then Agisoft, and it can make way more detail data in both polygons and texture maps. Really I liked that it did not lock up my machine completely while computing, and the results were always pretty damn good. Maybe they will see this video and give a free copy for use on my next project.
